Guys in Red Sports Cars and a Sacramento Short Sale Condo on Newhall Drive

9131 Newhall Dr #72 Sacramento CA 95826I hate guys in red sports cars. Especially old, bald guys in red sports cars. They act like they own the road. And worse, what should be a standard transmission in their cars is most likely automatic. Because they are too feeble to shift. I hate it when they cut me off. I was merging onto Highway 50 yesterday from Watt, chatting on my Bluetooth, trying to make an appointment with a short sale seller in Folsom when this guy in a red sports car almost ran me into the ditch.

I broke off our conversation to interject and blurted out that I hate guys in red cars. I know it was sort of random, but the seller on the other end of the phone started laughing. I guess she could relate. That's one of the things I like about my clients; they can relate to my goofy observations.

The only thing I hope is that this guy in the red sports car doesn't live at Cobblestone Glen condos. But he probably does. It's a pretty nice complex and very affordable these days. In any case, it should not prevent you from buying this short sale condo on Newhall Drive. The homeowner's association has pumped some money into this complex lately -- repainted the units, resurfaced the parking lots and replaced the roof.

This condo is an end corner unit, so you get a bit more privacy and somewhat less noise. It's in pretty decent shape, too, with laminate floors in the kitchen / dining area and neutral paint. You get a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and a washer and dryer. Yup, there's indoor laundry -- no more hanging out at the laundromat. There is also a brick fireplace in the living room and a guest bath on the first floor.

Upstairs, you'll find 2 good size bedrooms, each with identical closets. One of the bedrooms has a private entrance into the bath, but the trade-off is that bedroom overlooks the parking lot. The bedroom on the other side has a view of trees. Both of the bedrooms sport a ceiling fan with a light.

In addition to a somewhat private patio with an extra storage unit, there is also a one-car parking space in the carport. The carport sits directly behind the unit for easy access. The complex also has a pool and a jacuzzi.

Elizabeth, That is quite a buy! People tend to be in a hurry, not paying attention to those around them and cause accidents...bald guy in red car included! I'm glad you didn't end up in the ditch!

Me, too. But I would have rear-ended him first. I learned after rolling my jeep down a mountain that it might be better to hit the car than try to avoid it, providing you aren't going to kill anybody.

Hi Elizabeth, I have said that about guys in white trucks...there are a lot of guys in white trucks though - so I should clarify, guys in white trucks with Wyoming plates! LOL  Nice looking condo you have listed!

Hates a pretty strong word, but I understand the sentiment. Congrats on your new listing.

The guy in the red sports car was probably distracted because he is upside down in his house and was thinking about doing a short sale.  He may be calling you soon.

Yeah, Mary, I imagine everybody has their own little pet peeves. There are probably drivers out there who hate Volvo drivers. Oh, wait, that's everybody on the northern continent.

Melissa: There is nothing wrong with the word hate any more than there is something wrong with the word love.

Ha, ha, ha Jim, You slay me. Because you're probably right. The guy is upside down because the odds of that are really high.

"Too feeble to shift".. .Elizabeth, you are brutal. . .LOL  I fully understand your stance however!  I think that aggression on the highway comes from fluctuating testosterone levels.  The same thing happens to women, with estrogen imbalance, but for us, it's a lunar cycle kind of thing:-)  I'm a gal, so I can share that, but if a guy says it, it's considered politically incorrect. . .LOL
