Marianne, such a peaceful trail for walking or horseback riding. Lots of nice shade.
Marianne, what a lovely shot - the lighting almost looks like a painting.
This pathway looks so inviting and peaceful, wish I could take a stroll down this lane.
Hi Marianne,
That reminds me of some of the trails we have here in northern Utah. I am an outdoorsy girl, and anytime I see picutures like this, my first thought is, Ahhhh nature. Thank you for the Ahhhh moment, I needed it. :)

You live in such a beautiful area, Marianne. I agree with Lisa, too. My first thought was "Ahhhh". Thank you for sharing.
Marianne - wow - that is a beautiful photograph, and very representative of your area. Thanks for sharing.
Makes me want to go hiking. It would sure beat sitting in this office chair right now.
This looks like a very quiet place for a stroll or maybe a horse ride.
Really nice shot! Looks so peaceful, and makes you wonder what's just around the bend...a hill? It IS Colorado...
Very, very pretty and peaceful, thanks for sharing!

Great photo Marianne. It makes me want to walk down the path to see what's around the bend.

Serenity. I can just imagine how quiet and peaceful it must have been when you took this beautiful photo. Colorado is such a beautiful state! Have fun at REbar!
All: This shot is of the Barr Trail. The Barr Trail goes up to Pikes Peak. It starts in the canyon above Manitou Springs, and goes up from there. This is of the lower part. It eventually climbs high enough to get above the tree line. The photo was take in July of 2008.
Diane: It's going to be such fun! I can't believe that we'll have over 450 people! Gosh! That's huge. I've been to conferences with less than that.
