OK while I was up in Deltona this weekend I was headed to Perkins for breakfast. In the parking lot was this bird. I have never seen such a thing and wanted to know what kind of bird it was.
Do you have any idea? Can you share with me? Not asking for much ;)

It's a big ugly bird that was recently punched in the eye.
Luke LOL I liek that one!!
Jeannette, I LOVE these. They are Sand Hill Cranes. We have a family that live in our yard. They actaully mate for life and have an awesome dance that they do during mating season.
Broker Bryant, I refuse to hi-jack this post by asking "Is that where you got your moves from?" Nope, not going to go there. cheryl(behaving myself)willis
Broker Byrant I think they are pretty cool!
Cheryl Maybe it is where he gets his moves from! We may have to ask TLW!!
Jeanette - I'll have to agree with Broker Bryant I think they are sanshill cranes.
Don't know but it is certainly an interesting bird . Thanks for sharing.
Jeanette, is it some sort of peacock? Thanks and have a great day.
I have been known to have a pretty flamboyant mating dance in my younger days. Check it out:
I do slightly resemble a peacock in that shirt. That pic is 26 years and about 70lbs ago!!! Just about the time TLW plucked all my feathers.
Broker Bryant You gotta love that picture!!!
