Hi Susan, Very nice, look at your forsythia go, go go! I'm still waiting for the blooming to begin in my own backyard!

Posted by Cynthia Bartch, Designing with Gemstones and Sterling silver! (Gem and Silver Alchemy) almost 11 years ago

Cynthia, the pictures make the weather lie.  It is freezing here today.. well maybe not freezing, but not spring like at all!!  Good luck with your upcoming blooms!  Enjoy!

Your garden sure looks nice, Susan!  Great pictures.

Posted by Chris Fisher (Your Virtual Assistant) almost 11 years ago

Well Susan, it's also perty chilly here in GA. My friend in Maryland didn't believe me until I would call her at work on Mondays to just update her on the weather conditions. LOL

Susan, that is certainly a beautiful site.  My tree is totally bald and ugly.
It snowed for the last two days and everything shrivelled up again. :/

Susan my dear...

Very nice photos, I am so glad that the gardening season is here. This year, I've vowed to do more outside!

Posted by Richard Weisser, Richard Weisser Retired Real Estate Professional (Richard Weisser Realty) almost 11 years ago

Chris, thanks!  Now if only it will warm up!

Cynthia, I thought it was always warm in Georgia!!

Sylvie, I'm sorry you picked such a cold place to hang your hat!!

Hi Richard!  Gardening is good for what ails you!

That's a much prettier sight than the one in our backyard this morning.   It's all snow, snow, and oh, yea more snow. :)  Great pictures!

Posted by Jesse & Kathy Clifton, Retired (Jesse Clifton & Associates, REALTORS®) almost 11 years ago

Jesse, I think I will literally cry if it snowed again here, that's how sick I am of winter!  And it's happened, where the trees go all bloomy and the bulbs are bursting and then, a late spring snow!  It's heartbreaking!  How you doing up there?

Happy Holidays Sis!

Neal, same to you little bro!  Just reminding you I am waiting on a picture of my new nephew!  Or is the puppy a niece?  I can't remember!  How's it going over at KW?

Hi Susan, Beautiful! It looks like Spring is indeed in your garden.  I love the forsythia, my Mom tried so hard to have one, but every year the darn thing froze!! Thanks for the pictures of spring!

Posted by Mary Douglas, REALTOR, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado (United Country Ponderosa Realty, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado) almost 11 years ago

Mary, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's forsythias!  It freezes here too, so I wonder what the difference is?

Hi Susan! Your yard is beautiful! I love the cherry blossom tree (I think that's what it is) and would love to have one in my yard. I do have about 4 of those yellow bushes (don't know what they are called) and they are blooming nicely. Love the photos!

Have a great day,

Anne Rains

Posted by The Rains Team, A higher standard in real estate (Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners) almost 11 years ago

Those yellow are forsythia-did I spell that right? (Anne R) Those pictures are beautiful!  I saw the word Goshen and thought you are near me!  But no, you are not in Orange County, NY.  LOL

Posted by Debbie Walsh, Hudson Valley NY Real Estate 845.283-3036 (Shahar Management) almost 11 years ago

Anne, Debra beat me to it!  The yellow shrubs are forsythia and the tree is a flowering plum.  It is very fragrant but only blooms for about one week.  Well worth the wait.  During the summer, the leaves are purply green.

Hi Debra!  I live in East Goshen and there is a West Goshen.  This area is rich in history and played a part in the revolutionary war.

Hi Susan-A very beautiful yard you have there. Nice to see green grass i would imagine as well as flowering trees. We have tulips and daffodils out here which are pretty except where there are some real pretty ones is on the road way where it is almost impossible to get a shot of them but I love seeing them I hope you are having a great day and have a wonderful Easter. :-)

Posted by Sharon Lee, Retired and loving life (Sharon Lee's Virtual Assistance) almost 11 years ago

I was out digging into the ground just an hour ago seeing if I could get some water into the dirt so that I could turn the beds over for the season. The season is way ahead of me out there in PA. I don't think I will even see a crocus before Easter.

Susan, ahh yes, great to know that spring is actually really here after a long dreadful winter

Posted by Sonny Kwan, 206-819-8228 (Quantum Group Commercial - Residential - Lease Seattle, WA ) almost 11 years ago

I'm so totally jealous of your beautiful yard.  I spend some, not a lot, of time working at my office on the grounds, but at home I manage to plant a few veggies each summer and I have a couple nice rose bushes and multi colored lantana that will get pretty later in year, but I neglect my yard at home.  By the time I get home I'm just too tired to do much and I have a lot of trees so would need to have shade friendly things and I don't even know what is shade friendly.  Is that tree on the left a weeping willow?  I've always wanted one of those.  Anyway your yard is beautiful and I just love your pictures.  So would you do me the honor of emailing me that first photo to lanerealty@bellsouth.net PLEASE, I'd love for it to be my desktop background.  PLEASE

Hi Sharon!  I have never been able to get tulips to come back more than once.  I don't know if the squirrels eat them or if I plant them incorrectly.  Have a wonderful Easter!

Hi Sabrina!  I get so desperate for Spring that I do not know if I could be happy anywhere where winter lasts longer than it does here.  Have a great Easter!

Hi John, it does feel like it's been a long winter!  Spring really does pick you up, doesn't it?

Posted by Susan Mangigian, Chester & Delaware County Homes, Delaware and Ches (RE/MAX Preferred, West Chester, PA, RS152252A) almost 11 years ago

My pretty friend Tammy, I would be honored to email you the picture!  The weeping willow is actually on my neighbor's lawn.  I've always wanted one but do not have the room, and when she got it for mother's day, I talked them into putting it where I could enjoy it too!  I can see it from my reading chair, and it's a lovely backdrop, towering behind my little red maple in the morning!  xxoo

Your garden makes me jealous! I've still got 2 feet of snow on mine... But I bet you don't have any moose wandering through! Glad you feel better.

All I need is a blanket and some of your cooking. I'm all set (LOL). Love the eye candy, bay-bay! Keep 'em coming. :-)

Susan, in my yard, the first sign of spring is the dandilion!  Yours is much prettier!

Posted by Patricia Kennedy, Home in the Capital (RLAH Real Estate) almost 11 years ago

Tim, two feet of snow in April??  Remind me to visit you in July!  I hope the snow thaws soon!

Hi my girlfriend C!!  Not much cooking going on over here... been down with a bad cold for one week, counting today.  xxoo

Hi Pat, Dandelions are good eating, don't be so hard on them!  I know some Italians that pull them and put them in a salad!

Absolutely beautiful! I wish Spring was here but we are stuck in "windy season" 55 mph today :)

Posted by Mandi Perkins (Pioneer Title Agency) almost 11 years ago

I hope the beauty out your window is making you feel better. Have been worried about you!

We are just getting our first flowers peeking out here Susan.  Soon it will be busting out all over!!!  Thanks for the look at things to come.

Georgina, thanks!

Sharon, the spring makes the winter worth it!

Mandi, we had some heavy winds the other day, but nothing like 55 mph!!  Yikes!

Janice, seems to be slowly getting better... over a week!  I am praying things work out over there for my buyer as well as us!

Paddy, It's going to be a beautiful spring!

Susan - love all that springtime color, you are fortunate to have all of that in your yard.

Posted by Mike Saunders (Lanier Partners) almost 11 years ago

Your flowers are looking great. I love to see everything come to life in the Spring time.

Posted by JL Boney, III, Columbia, SC Real Estate (Coldwell Banker) almost 11 years ago

Dear-heart, I am so sorry you have not been feeling well. Will call you later, lovely. Want me to make you some chicken soup? Seriously! I will. Daddy can keep the shorties and I'll get to cook in your kitchen (LOL). I have a secret Jewish recipe handed down from his Mom. Very tasty. ;-)

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) almost 11 years ago

Mike, for a city girl who grew up in a row house, I am very lucky, indeed.  And I know it.

JL, thanks sweetie!  Have a great Easter.  Kiss my adopted daughter-in-law for me!

C., I am coming around, slowly but surely.  My friend Liz offered to make Matzo Ball Soup, but I declined... she made it once and well, I prefer noodles!!! Lol!  Thanks though!

Posted by Susan Mangigian, Chester & Delaware County Homes, Delaware and Ches (RE/MAX Preferred, West Chester, PA, RS152252A) almost 11 years ago

Spring is finally starting to show here, I noticed the forsythia blooming on my drive to the office this morning along with the Bradford Pear trees.... I just wish the weather would get a little more consistant!

Posted by Robert Rauf (HomeBridge Financial Services (NJ)) almost 11 years ago

Babe, I'm into the noodles as well (LOL). There are no balls floating in my soup. ;-)

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) almost 11 years ago

Robert, it snowed the other day. I know what you men about the weather being hinky (LOL).

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) almost 11 years ago

Susan, you KNOW I've been waiting for these as Spring has sprung. Thanks. It made my day with the colors.
