Well now !!

This was a pleasant surprise today when my hip started vibrating...

... it was an incoming message to my CrackBerry BlackBerry, with an email from 'Trulia'.

The title was "Referral for your listing at 755 Cherry Street" (which is one of my new listings :o)

I have seen similar inquiries before from Trulia, Zillow, and my MLS lead system, and as always I follow up promptly on the off chance that the emailer is for real !

Fast Fwd to today !

This one didnt just inquire with a question, but stated they wanted to put in an offer !

Well that made me even more skeptical, but after my reply to her, I got a prompt response asking for my cellphone number so we could discuss the offer and answer a few questions ... that sounded a tiny bit more encouraging !

I gave the number, and then my phone rang ! ... it was the Trulia Customer !

We chatted for a while, talked about her preferred criteria, and while my listing on Cherry wasnt going to work for her, I did find some better options and I showed her 3 homes in the same town this afternoon !!!!

So 'Thanks' Trulia !!! ... and although I have promoted every one of my listings on your site for ages, today's customer was my first real lead from you !

PS: To all the Realtors who think it's not worth syndicating your sellers homes to all those weird named internet sites ... think again :o)
