BEWARE: Clarksville Speed Traps

Clarksville Speed Traps - Photo by Roland WoodworthThere are a couple area in Clarksville that drivers need to pay close attention to the speed limit as the Clarksville Police Department will be happy to take money from your wallet. Two hot areas for Clarksville Speed Traps are:

First is Trenton Rd at Tiny Town Rd. As you Exit from I-24 the speed limit is ONLY  30 MHP and as you cross the bridge, the radar is upon you before you realise it.  The Clarksville Police Department sits multiple cars deep at the Walgreens just waiting for you to top the bridge.

Another place to be on the look out is along the new 5 lane Peachers Mill Rd between Tiny Town Rd and the 101st Airborne Parkway. Even with the road now being 5 lanes, the speed limit is only 30 MHP.
